The Challenge

Over the last decade, Thames Water and a partner agency have teamed up with Deltra to help source high-quality personnel to join their ranks. We were tasked with finding talented candidates through an open, honest, and responsive service whilst understanding the cultural nuances and ambiguity around some of the roles they needed to fulfil.

The Solution

To support Thames Water, we initially operated a Virtual Bench Model, which was designed to create access to project and programme professionals across a variety of programmes, working to minimal timescales and tight SLAs. This model allowed us to provide highly suited and talented candidates to Thames Water, within 72 hours.

The Outcome

Through the Virtual Bench Model, we were able to place candidates quickly and efficiently within the business, ensuring those critical digital and people-centred transformation programmes within Thames Water were delivered successfully.

We also took time to understand the company culture to ensure only well-suited candidates were placed in the organisation, minimising attrition of contractors leaving the business when in critical programmes.   

Additionally, we were also able to provide market insight to ensure Thames Water were providing opportunities that are in line with what project and programme professionals are looking for in an organisation. We were also able to offer guidance on navigating the sensitivities and challenges around IR35, providing a comprehensive recruitment service that has exceeded expectations.
