What are your main responsibilities at Deltra Group?  

As Deltra's MD, I oversee Deltra’s performance and the business development of new and existing clients.

What drew you to recruitment? 

Initially, I was drawn to it because I had an interest in sales. During my time at University I enjoyed stating new ventures and creating events and this harnessed my interested in sales and working with people. Recruitment ticked all of those boxes and it enabled me to work with big clients who were driving changes in their respective businesses and I was able to play a part in it. 

What inspired you to start Deltra Group? 

Both me and Julian will claim we came up with the idea of starting Deltra– but in truth it was me. I realised that the wider recruitment market did not inspire me when I was leaving my previous employer and I was keen to set my own marker for a business that had like-minded people with a focus on doing things the right way. I knew Jules and I could work well together so suggested the idea of us starting something and the rest is history. 

What are your three favourite things to do when you’re not at work? 

I love playing golf, sadly I don’t get as much time to do it but I intend to change that. Spending as much time with my little boy and playing silly games with him; He’s getting into football now, so it gives me a much-needed excuse to get fit and play with him. I’m a big Liverpool FC fan and have a season ticket for Crystal Palace as they are close to home so this gives me a great way to watch football!
