What are your main responsibilities at Deltra Group?

I am responsible for leading the specialist FS Transformation team, we partner with well-known and boutique Financial Services organisation who are going through a transformation. Working with Project Professionals covering all role types and levels. In addition to working with some great clients and candidates, I am also responsible for leading, developing and growing the team.

What drew you to recruitment?

As much as I would like to say that this was a planned career choice, alas it was not and I accidentally fell into recruitment around 20 years ago. It has been amazing to see how the industry has evolved over the years and I am proud to say that it has offered me a great career path including the opportunity to work overseas in Singapore and Sydney, where I now also have dual citizenship for.

What do you like about working at Deltra Group?

I am a firm believer that the people you work with, for, and lead are ultimately the most important aspects of the role and Deltra has provided me with that. Recruitment can be a very rewarding job, however it also comes with many challenges, so it is important to have a good working environment around you whilst also enjoying the sector that you work within.

What are your three favourite things to do when you’re not at work?

There are many things that I enjoy outside of work including spending time with family, friends and my gorgeous (26 kilo) British Bulldog, Bentley.

I enjoy moving every day and can often been seen embarking on different walks. I also practice yoga, enjoy a nice glass of red wine / cocktail or, of course, some down time on a sun lounger.

What is your personal motto?

'Do not be afraid of change'. Which for people that know me well, may be hard to believe, however I am a firm believer that if something is no longer serving you well then you need to change! I know it can be very hard however life is short and the ultimate goal has to be to try to be happy!
