We’re delighted that our brand-new technology division is up and running, and it was only a matter of time until we brought some new faces into the Deltra team to help us provide the best possible service to our network of IT professionals.

We’d like to introduce you to the newest member of our dedicated IT team, Ben Owen. Ben will be working alongside our Manager, Fergus Walsh to help us bring our client’s digital transformations to life.

Before joining Deltra, Ben spent 15 years working within real estate. After deciding he craved a new challenge and career, he moved to London and made the switch to become a recruiter just over 12 months ago. After learning the ropes at another recruitment agency which specialised in change and transformation in Fintech, he now joins us at Deltra armed with bags of drive and enthusiasm for his new role.

We caught up with Ben to find out why he was drawn to working with us at Deltra and how he feels about spearheading our new IT specialism alongside Fergus. He said the following:

“Helping people and forming relationships while delivering a valuable service is a passion of mine, which is why I was so drawn to Deltra. Their big focus is people and they’re more about the human that you’re dealing with rather than the money that they can generate for the business. I’ve felt very welcomed and have already been given the autonomy to work on my own roles, which I’ve enjoyed because I like to hit the ground running.

Joining a brand-new division is not something I’ve done before, but it definitely ticks a lot of my boxes in terms of what I enjoy. It’s a really great opportunity and an exciting challenge. I’m looking forward to venturing into this new market and to continue learning and progressing in my new role.”

It’s important to us that our team shares in our ethos for people-centric recruitment and are keen to build meaningful and long-lasting relationships with our clients and candidates. Now that he is part of the team, Ben will be helping us to establish and maintain our relationships within the technology space, as well as helping us to continue to build-out the technology division itself.

When asked about Ben joining the team, our Managing Director Minesh said:

We look forward to seeing what he achieves as part of the team moving forward.’
