What are your main responsibilities at Deltra Group?
I look after the permanent side of our Utilities portfolio. I help to expand Deltra’s network of permanent candidates with passionate and driven individuals, particularly those who are customer centric and with experience in regulated environments. I also partner leaders in the Utilities industry to ensure that they have the strongest support to successfully deliver change and helping to decipher clients’ requirements, in terms of specific experience and cultural fit.
What drew you to recruitment?
I really wanted to make the most of the busy and social city life of London. Due to the fast-paced nature of the industry, I never spend my afternoon clock-watching. It’s a bonus that my job is really made up of talking to and meeting with people.
What do you like about working at Deltra Group?
The size of the company mainly. Everyone’s together in one room, so we all chat with each other and it’s not cliquey at all. Coming from an all-girls school I really appreciate this!
What are your three favourite things to do when you’re not at work?
I have a degree and a real passion for music. I play the piano and have always sung in choirs. A lot of my time during summer is spent at music festivals and gigs, enjoying quite an assortment of different styles of music (from Stevie Wonder to The Prodigy to Alt-J). Most of my weekends are spent catching up with friends from school and uni, preferably over a bottomless brunch. I’m a keen Watford FC supporter having worked at the ground during weekends when I was at school. Nowadays I prefer the atmosphere of away days. My guilty pleasure is a day trip to the zoo, though most of my time will be spent with the elephants (or pandas if I’m really lucky).
What is your personal motto?
Let’s go for a boogie.
