What are your main responsibilities at Deltra Group?

I'm a Manager and I'm responsible for our Utilities, Property & Construction and Oil & Gas teams. To develop our proposition within the Utilities sector, as well as managing the performance of a talented team of consultants. I also sit on the Leadership team, drive Business Development initiatives and host our Business Improvement Group.

What drew you to recruitment?

Like a lot of people, I fell into Recruitment by chance around 15 years ago and haven't looked back since. I liked the view that based on your individual efforts you would be rewarded for that effort directly.

What do you like about working at Deltra Group?
Deltra, is a medium-sized organisation, which really has a great family feel and togetherness. We have really worked hard on maintaining a culture of fun and achievement and I really feel we have a blend of the two. I also enjoy that we strive to develop an understanding of our individual sectors as well look to develop long term relationships with our network. Which is quite a unique approach within a sector that has a reputation for just focusing on financial outcome. We would rather form a relationship which is long standing which creates a long term pipeline rather than a quick transaction.

What are your three favourite things to do when you’re not at work?

I am new to fatherhood and marriage so spending time with my young daughter Sophie and wife are very important to me. When I get a moment I am partial to the odd series on Netflix, recently I have been into Suits and Narcos and I'm partial to international dramas also. Alongside Netflix, I am a Tottenham supporter. There are only two of us in Deltra surrounded by a large Arsenal contingent -which can be a challenge!

What is your personal motto?

I went to a Salvadore Dali exhibition in Bruges a while back and I read one of his quotes which was "I am indifferent to the opinion of others. The only thing is that they speak of Dali"  I found this quite profound and one that resonated with me.
