Exciting new opportunity to join a multinational media organization responsible for delivery of a portfolio of business transformation and technology programmes across people, processes and technology. This role sits within the central change and delivery function and is responsible for delivering enterprise wide global strategic change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in delivering process and technology integration following acquisitions through its full lifecycle
  • Manage interdependencies across the programme as well as across other programmes/ projects within the overall portfolio across the group.
  • End-to-End Ownership of your Portfolio of Programmes, define & manage programme roadmap; ensure alignment of delivery plans & dependencies
  • Support process improvement and service excellence in helping to build a leading change delivery function
  • Initiate and set goals for programmes according to the strategic business objectives
  • Apply change control, risk and resource management principles
  • Mange the budget and forecast and validating the business case/benefits throughout the course of the programme
  • Portfolio-level reporting to C-Suite's and Head of Change Delivery
  • Identification of dependencies from/to other key initiatives and management of these dependencies
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects and programmes on time and to meet business objectives
  • Build and develop a team of project, programme managers and business analysts


Essential Skills

  • Strong experience of portfolio/project-based roles in large global, complex organisations
  • Significant experience of managing large scale business transformation programmes and projects with global impact in a complex geographical/ functional matrix organization
  • Experience delivering a £50m plus portfolio of cross-technology/cross-business unit global programmes with complex interdependencies across multiple streams of delivery
  • Strong track record of delivering successful programmes in a large, high-profile, and complex global organizations
  • Understanding of project methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP and Agile SCRUM
  • Experience working in a high-pressured, time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong track record of developing high-performing programme and project management professionals
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders at the C-suite level, managing across time zones and cultures
  • Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills are required across both business and technology, ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and wider business
  • Ability to deliver against demanding deadlines and key milestones
  • Strong Change agent across the organisation
