URGENT REQUIREMENT Are you an experienced risks and issues lead or manager of a multi faceted programme across technology, change and infrastructure change? Do you have a record of achieving success with large blue chip businesses and have a history of understanding the risks, governance framework and presenting risks effectively to senior stakeholders? The tasks involved with the Risk and Issues Lead will be to have a detailed understanding of risk management processes as part of the day to day governance framework of this multi million pounds programme. This role will be within the PMO Office and report to the PMO Lead, fundamentally having one of the most pinnacle roles within the team. The successful candidate will have involvement and knowledge cross the project controls management and quality of the programme milestones, liaise with the internal and external partners, suppliers and vendors, and have comprehensive knowledge of tools and techniques in risk management and its approaches. As well as becoming familiar with the programme and the risks and issues, the responsibility of the successful candidate will be to improve current processes, create transparencies and be the voice of the department an programme.

The ideal candidate will have come from a industrial background, ideally energy and gas, E&P, or the engineering sector. The demonstrating ability to display information through reports, risk and management tools, ie MS Projects, RTC rational team concert, Excel, and share point. Excellent stakeholder management skills is a must, being articulate and confident in your approach as well as being able to summarise complex problems to senior management and hold the risks owners accountable. Statistical analysis, ie, montecarlo analysis is desired and attention to detail to follow up on outstanding risks. A collaborative approach to work in a ever changing environment, address stakeholders positively and follow up on deadlines with a methodical approach. This role will require someone who has the ability to challenge SMEs effectively and have the gravitas to report difficult messages to senior stakeholders.
